The Repair Our Air-Fleet Challenge asks you to measure idling on ten vehicles in order to keep the program simple. However, the Challenge provides an opportunity to raise awareness of idling throughout your entire enterprise.
Here are the seven steps we recommend to run a successful campaign that improves everyone's driving performance:
- Build Your Business Case
- Find an Effective Sponsor
- Gather a Great Team
- Design Your Workplan
- Measure! Measure! Measure!
- Communicate! Communicate! Communicate!
- Plan for Continuous Improvement
Download the "Idling Campaign" document to get more details on each of these steps.
Here are some examples of what other companies have accomplished.
